FAQs Liquid Facelift
Most patients report minimal pain and discomfort. Many injectables contain lidocaine in their formulation. Lidocaine is an anesthetic that numbs the skin and increases your comfort during the injection and recovery process.
Visual changes to your appearance will be immediate after a dermal filler treatment. Initially, swelling and redness will appear, subsiding in 24-72 hours. Noticeable effects from Botox injections can take a bit longer and will present within 3-5 days on average. If you’re receiving your liquid facelift in preparation for a big event, it would be best to schedule a few weeks in advance.
While results are not permanent, with regular touchups, you can enjoy ongoing prolonged results.
Depending on the types of dermal fillers selected and what areas are injected the length of the results will vary. If you have full correction, a liquid face lift can last up to two years. Typically, patients come in once a quarter for evaluation and possible reinjection and to maintain results. Neuromodulators will require maintenance quicker than fillers and highly mobile areas of the face (such as the mouth) tend to need to be retreated before the other areas.
The cost of your treatment will depend on many factors including the types of fillers and injectables your provider recommends. In general, non-surgical options are less expensive than their surgical alternatives. We have procedures for every budget and will work with you to find the most cost-effective methods for your needs. We can provide a detailed estimate during your consultation.
